Warranty Policy

Digitals India Security Products Pvt. Ltd. [An ISO 9001 : 2000 Company]

Digitals India Security Products Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the COMPANY) offers 12 months warranty to the customer from the date of original purchase at our works / service center/ branch office  unless otherwise specified, during this period, the company will provide free of cost service both labour and spares and undertake to repair or replace a component of the equipment, if found to be malfunctioning because of any faulty material or defective workmanship and not due to improper use of faulty electric power supply / wrong connection / over-voltage. The warranty issued is subject to the following terms and conditions


TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

  1. The warranty will remain in force for the above said period only irrespective of whether the equipment has been or has not been use for any reason including breakdowns.
  2. In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts the warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the plan. No action taken during period will generate any independent warranty of its own or change in starting date of warranty or extension of warranty.
  3. During the warranty period, it will be the obligatory part of the customer that the equipment installed/reinstalled/repaired/attended to only by any of the company's branches and authorized dealers and in case an attempt is found to have been made for repairs or modifications by any unauthorized person, the warranty will automatically stand null and void.
  4. The part shall be replaced by the functionally operating equivalent materials only and not one with brand new ones. And likely to be different from one originally fitted. The parts thus removed shall be taken back by the company.
  5. The warranty does not cover any excise duty, custom duty, central or state sales tax and octroi and other local taxes payable on the parts of the equipment, which the company may supply or repair free of cost during the warranty period. Cost of packing, to and fro freight, delivery and transportation charges, etc on the components sent to the company's works in NOIDA or to the service center of it's branches. All such taxes, levies, cost of packing and transport of parts, shall be billed and collected from the customer.
  6. It is obligatory on the part of the customer that there is any change in the installation location of the equipment/change in the ownership he should intimate in written to the company's branch office or the authorized dealer from where the equipment was purchased under acknowledgment at least seven days in advance. Failure to give any intimation in regard to this warranty will be null and void. The customer will insure the equipment against transit damage.
  7. For the continuation of this warranty for the period that has not expired the reinstallation and inspection charge will be borne by the customer. Also the cost of rectification that has arisen due to mishandling or transportation will be give by the customer in advance.
  8. In case of on site warranty, if the equipment is installed/located outside municipal limits of the company's branch or authorized service dealer or in a place where the company's branch/authorized service dealer is not available the charges towards the transportation of mechanic/equipment are payable by the customer.
  9. In case of onsite warranty of equipments/products HHMD, DFMD, LED search lights, U V currency detectors and 2 Channel DVR, You shall bring the Product to nearest Authorized Service Centre(s) for repair in case of any malfunction or any defect in the Product covered under the warranty.
  10. It is entirely left to company's discretion to effect repairs/replacement of parts at the site of installation or at the service center of its branches or authorized representatives or at its works in Noida.
  11. While the COMPANY, as and when required, will make every effort to carry out maintenance and repairs / replacements under warranty period as soon as possible, it is expressly made clear that the COMPANY shall not be liable to do so within specific period of time. The company will not be liable for providing any service equipment during repairing period.
  12. The COMPANY employees or its authorized representatives have no authority to vary, amend or extend the warranty period, terms and condition of this warranty.
  13. In the special cases separate warranty terms and conditions will be issued only by the C.E.O of the COMPANY.
  14. For the warranty to be in force, the customer will have to comply with all the instructions given in the user manual.
  15. The company will not be liable for any consequential loss or compensation under any circumstances.
  16. Decorative materials, fuses, rubber parts, batteries/cells, key switches, bulbs, tubes etc. are not covered under warranty.
  17. In case of litigation, courts in Delhi alone will have the jurisdiction.
